We are pleased to announce that we have hired a Peabody Conservatory graduate to give instruction in violin, viola, hammered dulcimer, recorder and tinwhistle. Andy B. will be teaching here on Monday and Wednesday, afternoon and evenings. We are excited to have a third violin/fiddle instructor on our teaching staff. Drew Vervan teaches fiddle. He has performed professionally in the Baltimore area for 18 years, and worked as a musician in Germany, England, and Ireland. Drew’s teaching style includes a thorough grounding in basic violin technique, music reading skills, clear explanations of music , and traditional folk tunes, some drawn from his own transcriptions.
