Music for the Sets - The Yellow Book A142 $12.95

During the late 1980's, The Pipers' Club of Dublin, in association with Brooks Academy, produced six recordings of set dance music which featured some outstanding instrumentalists playing over 200 tunes. The tunes have been accurately notated and brought together, with chord symbols, in two books: this one and its companion, Music for the Sets - the Blue Book. This volume includes 111 tunes from three recordings: Round the House, Pay the Piper, and Show the Lady. The books, along with the albums from which the music was transcribed, are a powerful aid to acquiring a substantial, modern repertoire of session tunes.
